I had this today on Ubuntu 9.10, but not after hibernating, sleeping or anything. The PC is a Dell T3400, quite the opposite of a netbook. Anyway, this bug doesn't seem to meet the SRU criteria so those who are annoyed by this may want to upgrade to 10.04 (which is just around the corner).
