Ok, I agree, thank you. But this is very interesting, because for
example pulseaudio is running when I remove .pulse directory and
.pulse_cookie file if logout and login back again. When login back,
pgrep pulseaudio shows pulseaudio actual process number, and .pulse
directory and .pulse_cookie
Because a11y currently does not integrate well with PulseAudio in
Ubuntu, PA is disabled when the option is chosen, hence no PA settings
are available in the sound preferences.
You may still use gnome-alsamixer/gamix or a Terminal with alsamixer or
amixer.

Very interesting think:
When I not using the accessible profile with both machine, the hardware
volume button is works correct, gnome-volume-applet is present by
default, and the hardware page is not empty with sound properties.

Was able to reproduce this by creating a new user and starting second X
session with 'startx -- :2 '. The preferences/hardware tab does come
up empty, looks like a configuration error.

I think this attachments now not have this bugreport because I do
bugreport with wrong package (I do gnome-media, but pulseaudio is the
right package now, Sebastien is changed).
Just a moment, I try do requested tests my two machine.
