Because a11y currently does not integrate well with PulseAudio in Ubuntu, PA is disabled when the option is chosen, hence no PA settings are available in the sound preferences. You may still use gnome-alsamixer/gamix or a Terminal with alsamixer or amixer. -- When the accessible profile is

Ok, I agree, thank you. But this is very interesting, because for example pulseaudio is running when I remove .pulse directory and .pulse_cookie file if logout and login back again. When login back, pgrep pulseaudio shows pulseaudio actual process number, and .pulse directory and .pulse_cookie
