There are no errors in the cups error logs.
You might close this bug as well as all the other unsolved bugs that I
reported.
The problem of this issue is, that evince sends the data to the printer
and does not stop when the printer reports buffer full. This hangs
evince.
Its not a cups problem.

What seems to be similar is that my printer is connected to the network
using an internal Jet Direct print server.
My analysis to this:
The printer did not change, the file did not change, the PPD did not
change so the only thing new in Karmic are printer driving libraries.
