This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it
recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the

i have run a memtest and my memory is fine. I did some more diagnostics and
here is what i found.
Whenever this happens, if i run dmesg i get an EXT4-fs error: Inode *** was
part of an orphaned inode list. where *** is some number. The next line in
dmesg states that the filesystem has been mark

system crashes. On boot, fsck gives inode *** part of an orphaned list.

Hi ishan,
Can you run a memtest to try to eliminate this being a hw issue? Next,
I know there is a set of ext4 patches being proposed for updates, see
bug 496816. It might not hurt to test this set of patches once the
kernel is built and ready for testing. Thanks.
