Hello,
Jonathan, I tested the bzr branch today. Downloaded the branch, checked
that apportevent had commit 227 in apportevent.cpp and build the package
with dpkg-buildpackage, installed the resulting kubuntu-notification-
helper_11.04ubuntu3_i386.deb. Exited kde, cleaned the zombies I had
around
Please, forget my previous comment (wish I could delete it :( ) I did a
mistake during the build and my installation was not correct and still
running the old daemon.

Ok, I did it right this time. I confirmed that the compilation was right
and that the version installed was the new one (tagged 11.04ubuntu3).
The results are the same, closing the lid and opening it again creates
kded4 zombies. This happens only if k-n-h is running.
