Hi soypirate. Sorry for the delay in my reply. When opening a terminal window,
it defaults to opening your home directory. Is the alsa-info.sh script in your
home directory? If it is not, please save this file to your home directory &
try to run the script again.

since you first ran that script, it will not be of much use. Can you please run
it again & post the link so that it contains your current audio settings.

for some reason, this time around, i could not run either of these bash
alsa-info commands, mentioned above as well as in the link in comment
#3. I believe I did run this url generator for ALSA info before I ran
maurizio's fix from bug#318942... and I still have the output url:

I need you to run the "alsa-info.sh" script mentioned in the link from
my previous comment. This allows me to see details relating to your
sound card, channel volumes, etc, etc. Please do the following (from the
