Ubuntu 6.10 didn't even recognize the sound card (Powerbook snapper
iirc) among others and there was no easy fix for that -- so I
completely gave up on it, not even filing bug reports on 6.10 because
half of them (6.06) were immediately closed
Can you test this issue with Edgy 6.10 so we can see if it still exists?
