The upstream bug has been closed. Can someone confirm whether or not
this has trickled into Ubuntu (Feisty) yet?

According to the date of the upstream svn commit, the fix has been
included with the Xfce 4.4 release, so is in feisty as well.

Hi, the upstream is not redesigned. For historical reasons the upstream
project called Terminal (terminal in svn) is packaged in debian as
xfce4-terminal, and upstream xfce4-terminal is not packaged :)
