I don't think Ubuntu supports or will support logging in and playing
audio through PA as root, therefore I'm setting it as "Won't fix". We
generally try to lock down the root account as much we can for maximal
security. In addition, you've found a workaround.

Here is the log however it appears that the issue was that PA was not
starting when user root was logged in as PA doesn't like to run with
root permissions. PA launches/works ok when logging in as regular user.
As a workaround, I modified /root/.pulse/client.conf to autospawn = yes
and PA now lau
