Hi, i'v found workaround for the repeating keys problem. After months searching for some kernel parameter a decided to minimize the repeating and set keyboard delay on higher value (timeout after them the repetaing starts). And surprise - problem disappeared totaly. I'm using openSuse. The

Ok just tested with 2.6.36-999 and the problem exists. I'll need to get you those logs as you requested though. In the meantime i have noticed one more problem. The built in dual microphone system works with gnome-sound-recorder but does not work in other applications e.g. skype. In Sound

i've got all my packages updated. so that means i should have all the maverick release packages. i've also got proposed updated enabled. anyway, i'll test again with the existing options by taking out the i8042.noloop setting. and then will do so with the mainline kernel which i see is 2.6.33-rc8
