Hi there - i can confirm this bug. On two occasions I have had issues with the kernel and grub after an update. On both occasions it failed to mount root fs and also had many tty errors. For the record, the kernels in question for me were 2.6.32-26 as well as the 2.6.35-22 kernel. Simon -- You

Hi, This may be a grub1 problem; we were running this kernel version under grub1 (because that's what vmbuilder does) and KVM and had two machines fail to boot. Editing the root kernel parameter from the UUID to /dev/sda1 and booting allowed us to boot correctly. Upgrading to the latest kernel
