It's affecting me as well.
Motherboard: ASUSĀ® M4A87TD/USB3, latest BIOS, AMD Phenom X4 CPU.
System Ubuntu 10.10 AMD64, with proposed repository enabled and updated.
Computer won't hibernate/suspend from menu until I disable USB3 port in BIOS
options. Please tell which files I should upload to give
while trying to follow your guidelines for filing a bug I encountered an
additional problem: 'apport-collect -p linux 695321' does not work

Please be sure to confirm this issue exists with the latest development release
of Ubuntu. ISO CD images are available from
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily/current/ . However, note you can only test
Suspend, not Hibernate, when using a LiveCD. If the issue remains, run the
