Update: I found

Neither platform nor shutdown kernel hibernation mode appears to work
for swsusp.
However, I was able to successfully get hibernation to work after
installing uswsusp.
I'm still willing to follow up and help out with tes

I've run the tests on the linked page and will attach the files created.
Running a pm-hibernate from console (with the no-console-suspend flag
on) did actually result in a successful hibernate (I was able to resume
from this). I'm not sure if this is expected beha

fairly fresh install. Suspend works fine.

Can you first please run apport-collect 728852 on your machine, that will
gather a load of detail about the hardware and the boot and add it to this bug
report.
