Affects 12.04 LTS clean install, on x64 too. The crash happens while clicking on "Load' button on "Restore" screen. After doing "sudo apt-get install hal" as suggested by fabrice, the issue does not come up again. This can be an official workaround. ** Tags added: precise -- You received this
