python-stats can't be uninstalled without also uninstalling ubuntu-
desktop.
Really? Python-stats isn't even in main, and ubuntu-desktop certainly
shouldn't depend on it.
Could you try to work out what the dependency path is that means you
can't remove python-stats without removing
