I tried Herd 2 of Feisty Fawn. Again, I am dropped to the Busy Box
shell, and I see the following message:
/bin/sh: can't access tty; job control turned off
If I switch to the first tty, I see
Loading, please wait...
cp: unable to open '/root/var/log/': No such file or directory
mount:
I just discovered something important. In my BIOS, if I change the
SATA Operation setting from the default which is AHCI (Advanced Host
Controller Interface) to ATA, I am able to boot from Feisty Fawn Herd 1
and 2 just fine! I don't really know what SATA Operation means and
whether or not Ubuntu
Herd 2 of Feisty Fawn is now available could you try booting from it and
report back if you have the same error?
