Upstream chromium is not accepting translations coming from Launchpad
any longer. Translations are bundled in the chromium-browser-l10n
package, they come directly from the upstream sources.

I'm marking it as Invalid for the Ubuntu Translations project, as
Chromium's translations are handled in Launchpad's upstream project, but
not in the Ubuntu packages. In Ubuntu we can currently only translate
packages from the main repository, and Chromium is in universe.
However, the
Launchpad bug is a duplicate of bug 818230 (or maybe of bug 869264,
depending on your view). Since I can't mark only a single bug task as
such, I am marking the Launchpad bug as Invalid. If you want to make
this a bug duplicate of any of the existing bugs, feel free to do so and
create new bug
Still happens and in other languages, too. Is this a problem with
Launchpad?

I just wrote a tiny script to look for the string history into the
branch i feed to Launchpad:
1st string:
$ ./string-history.sh generated_resources fi 1665770420914915777

The 3rd has a bit more history but still, nothing wrong. Are you sure those are
the IDs that keep being overwritten?
if so, then it's launchpad's fault. I should be able to do the same tests with
the export branch..

I've changed all of those strings in Launchpad. Those strings were
translated by Chrome's translator but s/he made some oopsies. Therefore
I've tried to correct them in Chromium.
Problem here seems to be that importing prioritizes Chrome's
translations over LP translations. All the changes I've
