Daniel, the non-standard setting I have is my launcher icons are 32x32.
In Oneiric, the issue is improved for me, but not completely fixed. For
some applications, I can drag them smoothly from the top to the bottom.
For others, I must drag them quickly, or their title bar gets stuck at

I have the same launcher icon size, but don't think it's relevant to
this bug.
Although I found I could drag windows past the panel after upgrading to
11.10, I did notice a little bit of a glitch in that the panel was
grabbing the motion events as the mouse pointer dragged over it. But
once the
I just upgraded to oneiric, and the problem has disappeared.
Now Unity does make fun!

Do you have any non-standard Unity/window management settings that might
explain why you still see the bug but others don't?

plugin. However I can confirm the bug does not occur in Gnome classic,
using the same compiz move plugin. Maybe there's something specific to
unity that is affecting how far the compiz move plugin is willing to
move windows?

practically unusable for the given dual monitor setup...
Is this issue fixed in oneiric?
