If this flag is not added (can simply toss it into GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX in
/etc/default/grub) the suspend seems to occur normally in the log, but
the machine shuts down, and fails to resume correctly.
BIOS
Oh, while suspend and hibernate do work correctly now, I did notice a
few times when doing suspend (simply closing the lid) then opening it a
while later, the brightness of the screen was "stuck"
I couldn't find a way to brighten it by fiddling w/ screen brightness in
power settings, and mucking a
Oh. This is on a default Natty install, although not a fresh install,
so I don't know if this is the sort of thing the installer might have
detected and worked around.
