Actually the new indicators system support this feature, but it doesn't allow
to define the indicators position to the users, since this is actually
hardcoded into panel-service.c
I would have loved to control this with a gsettings parameter to change the
indicators position, but I had no feedba

I think that this will be added in Ubuntu 11.10.
