I'm also having this issue with Ubuntu 11.10 on my Dell Inspiron N5010
with Intel integrated graphics. I don't have a program installed to

could this be specific to any video drivers/hardware I think I dont have

1. Snap a window to the left or right side of the desktop
2. Move the mouse over the minimize button's left side
