after this failed install, i have since not been able to recover my
windows vista, at all. i have very important files on this, ie, my
son's soccer game videos that cannot be replaced.
right now the RAID5 array status at bios boot time is Verify and
that has me worried. until some solution
I had a similar issue. I tried for three times without luck but the
fourth time, it worked. I suppose the problem is caused if you choose
your root partition to be btrfs format. The forth time, I choose '/'
(root) partition as ext4, and /home to be btrfs and the installer didn't
crash. The install
Thanks for your bug report. This is filed against debian-installer, but
from your report it's not clear if you installed from an 'alternate' or
'server' iso file. It sounds like you didn't from your report, so if
that's the case please change the package that this is filed against to
'ubiquity'
