A similar problem occurs if the screen is to big: text feels cramped and is

I think it should really scale so that every new user can see it. Maybe every
200px steps are enough, it doesn't have to be freescaling.
So anyone with a netbook has no possibility to see, how things are
working in Unity? Sorry, but that's poor design. Why isn't the overlay
scrollable or scalable?

that won't fix. the height of the overlay does not fit the netbook
screen so the plan was to not show it there.
