sorry, that's quite impossible, since i updated to gutsy a few weeks
ago... but i guess, since the problem's gone away in gutsy, it might be
solved in feisty, too.

sorry for the late answer, i obviosuly missed the question from you,
brian. the problem still exists - better, it existed 'til i switched
from the SMP-kernel to the 386 without smp. after that step, ndiswrapper
and my dongle worked properly without any problems. i could install the
686-kernel
I found this page while hunting for ndiswrapper info regarding setting
up a wn620g. I was serching for assuming WDM (non-NDIS) driver to
find out what that meant. Upon reading this report I gave the
unplug/replug a try.
I also got the kernel oops. [release feisty]
