glyphs in some font; did you install any custom fonts separately? If yes
you may want to remove these (buggy) fonts. Can you reproduce the

Your test had the same problem as my ppt - no bullets but ugly
rectangles. So as far as I can tell 1. either I haven't installed
something I should, or 2. something has been configured incorrectly on
my system.
Here is a screenshot of your bugTest.ppt to show that the problem is
present in a ppt
Can you try attaching the document after you save it? Maybe I can open
that and see the improper formatting myself. Test mine too, let me know
how the bullets show for you as I am curious.

Unfortunately I am having trouble duplicating this bug, could you be
more specific with the details? I created some text using bullets, saved
as a PPT and reopened and they looked the same as before I closed the
program. Is there a specific way how you entered these bullets
