The ICH7 sound card on this Sony VAIO VGN-FE41E notebook works fine, until it
is suspended to RAM and resumed again. When a sound is played, it seems to
take about half a second of sound and repeats it lots of times. Then it takes

The distribution doesn't install anything to /usr/local, but it happens
that users build things themself, make install them and that creates
bugs like that later when the API change because the /usr/local version
is used before the distribution version

It seems like AGPFastWrite is again enabled by default in Feisty. I
installed Feisty Beta and upgraded March 31st on a friend's PC with ATI
Radeon 8500 (R200) and it would always hang after using for instance
glxgears. I added Option AGPFastWrite false and now it runs stable.
The man page says the
so maybe this bug is not really relevant, using uninitialized values is
np crash - just tell me, or mark it as notfixed, or similar, if so.
