I am having this on a dell laptop (inspiron 1501) with the fglrx driver.
The open source driver seems to work fine now with log outs. I am also
having black screens after resume, this is with both drivers. I am using
the 64 bit version of ubuntu, btw.

Upgrade from latest edgy with all updates applied prior to Feisty beta
using update-manager -d. After reboot, no mouse. Running thru a kvm
switch. Older MB (PCChips M590) with psmouse support. lsmod shows a
psmouse driver loaded. Worked fine on prior edgy config.

I downloaded last updates and restarted Gnome, then login screen popped
up. I entered login and password and then whole screen went in the color
of desktop (without wallpaper), so I had to press ctrl+alt+backspace to
reset it again and it worked th

After some suspend/resume/power cycles, I'm no longer able to reproduce
this, so I think it may be a power management issue rather than a
straightforward regression in the driver. as such, it's less serious
than I thought, and it's also difficult for me to test.

Thanks for your answer. I just completely uninstalled cups (and removed
/etc/cups as well as /usr/lib/cups) and reinstalled cups.
The problem is _not_ fixed. When I try to add a printer, cupsys is
dying.
When I start gnome-cups-manager from gnome-terminal, I get

Still happens on 2.6.20-13 for iSight. What is weird is the camera
