I would agree that the package should be installable even after an
upgrade but I disagree with the idea of upgrading the whole system
except the artwork. You did, after all, upgrade to the next version.

Colin, thanks for looking at this again. I think my suggestion for
conditionalizing on 2 TB is better than conditionalizing on Mac vs.
non-Mac, because if a Mac had a 2 TB drive, I'm guessing it would suffer
this same problem, as it is Linux that is preferring the msdos partition
table to GPT,

I guess this is not a problem of nautilus-cd-burner but the error is in hal
(libhal1 or hal1).
Check if you can select in the nautilus-burn dialog an appropiate speed. For me
it isn't possible since Gutsy, only weird speed selections beginning with 9x.
Therefore the error gets produced.

Since Gutsy I got this error message. Though for me the burned CDs are
completely OK.
Never had this error before, using a PHLIPS DVD+RW416.
My first thought was, that it would be related to wodim or nautilus-cd-
burner. But it is definetely the package libhal1. Because write speeds

offending option isn't even present anymore, so it's now impossible to

I tried what you described.
But apport-qt made a report for wget, but it was not wget that crashed.
I guess this was because I had a wget crash file in /var/crash.
This is the content of /var/crash when I started apport-qt:

I noticed that /var/crash/_usr_bin_gwenview.1000.crash is about 17MB and it

Thanks that's an upstream task please forward it to them at
bugzilla.gnome.org product system-monitor, it doesn't make too much
sense to me to include that feature copying to what windows vista is
doing, I'm closing this report for now, as i said feel free to submit it
