When right clicking a window the option: move to workspace [ right |
left ] does not wrap around.
On the first desktop, there should be a move to left, that brings the
window to the last desktop, and on the last desktop, a move to right
that brings to first desktop.

I had no problems with the CD release version of Hardy Heron 8.10
Kubuntu-alt on the exact same hardware that I mentioned in my October

I have the same problem here with a Hercules Wireless PCI G card.
I downloaded the drivers from rt2x00.serialmonkey.com and now everything works
well.
The priority of this should be high as this is a serious problem and very easy

I uninstalled (purged) firefox--gnome-support and xulrunner-gnome-support
I cleaned the cache, history and such
Restarted X
All had no results. Still at 100% CPU and a constant working hard disk.

I am seeing the same error. I have just upgraded to Hardy via APT. No
mono-based apps will run, and no matter how I try to invoke them, I just

The biggest thing that stands out is a disk with an invalid partition

Sorry to bother you all again :-)
I noticed a new behavior: When you let Firefox run with the disk
activity and the 100% CPU for approx. half an hour. All problems are
gone. Disk activity stops and CPU goes
OK, have solved the CTRL key by renaming the following dirs in
~/.gconf/apps/metacity :
global_keybindings, window_keybindings
Fn key is still dead though, so looking into that.

Ralf, sorry, my comment was not meant for you but for the developers to
explain why I reopened this bug :)
I suspect that you will have to wait for Intrepid for a fix or use
unofficial packages (I don't know of any), sorry...
Maybe Bryce has some git versions packaged, but I don't know about
