At first I figured I wasn't able to play DVDs because maybe libdvdcss wasn't
installed or something and didn't think anything of it, but I've now checked
over everything and can confirm that it is the same problem described above.
Problem manifested after installing Hardy (I did a

I didn't know how to change type - in Modify the type was visible, but
not possible to change - so I just hit Clean key and it changed to
boolean. I did the same to the next key volumes_visible, it also had
value 0 and it seemed to me it should be boolean. Now nautilus
moreover since dapper IS still supported, that comment is plain wrong.

Aha! Looks like you need to have compiz enabled to make this happen.
Open 2 windows. Hit the button and they'll get minimized. Then click one
of them on the panel and that window will maximize (or restore) back.

I am pretty sure, that this is the same bug! Konqueror always crashes on
sites with much flash! One video from youtube is not a problem, but many

An easy solution would be to enable the corresponding feature in the
kernel, so one can read the configuration of the running kernel from
/proc/config.gz.
This feature is disabled in the standard Ubuntu kernels, so we face a
hen/egg problem.

As I see it it IS a bug!
Here's what happens (3 times since upgrade to Ubuntu 8.04) after login
as the final screen is being painted the mentioned error window appears.
In each case I've (1) taken a screenshot and (2) saved it to the desktop
