I think is not a problem in Ktorrent. It happen also with other programs. I
have same problem with xmgrace in a eeePC. I though it was a problem o the

Final post: booting up, leaving machine idle, and only opening a
terminal to check the temperature:
With 2.6.24-19-generic SMP, the temperature is 64 degrees.
With 2.6.24-20-generic SMP, the temperature is 85 degrees.
The temp at which the CPU shuts down is 89 or so.

It seems this isn't a pure cp problem after all. The error only occurs
when copying to a filesystem mounted via SFTP. However, copying to a
mounted SFTP filesystem via rsync doesn't remove the SUID flag.

I also confirm this bug on my Acer Aspire 7720G with a NVidia GeForce
8400m over a clean install of Hardy 8.04 for i386.

I have not had the problem recently I think after a re-installation, but
there was no error message.

I don't mean to reopen this bug after it's (apparently) been fixed.
I was trying to setup a combined LDAP/Kerberos system today, and ran
into this exact problem. I'm running the latest version of Hardy with
all updates. After I applied the fixes to the AppArmor profile suggested
by Ryan, e

should be one, long line of text which includes the exact kernel version you're
running, as well as the CPU architecture.
