As far as I know, the new gspca drivers are v4l2 drivers.
We need libv4l package for compatibility with v4l (eg to use camorama).

packages installed. I reinstalled qt4-qtconfig for whatever reason and
the result was that aptitude said this:

Users can switch abrowser if they want but the name and artwork of
abrowser is worse than Debian's Iceweasel (which IMHO is much better
name than abrowser). Are there any plans to rename abrowser in the

I confirm the bug, also with the new version of MX Revolution (the one in the
set MX 5500 Revolution).
I'm happy because in Intrepid is fixed (if IT IS fixed) but Hardy is LTS: will
be fixed also in Hardy?

The package comes from Ubuntu Intrepid repositories.

Ok I put the hypothesis into practice, I logged into my normal environment (I
had to edit the menu.lst file to do this, but it seems that many people are
down with that)
I think these steps will rectify the problem, but I being a little n00bish
mucked up the order and ended up breaking my fresh
