I have a Gigabyte P35-DS3R motherboard. It has two RAID chipsets:
jmicron and Intel. The jmicron chipset is turned off and I'm only using
the Intel ICH9R chipset. I have never had any problems with RAID 0 in
Ubuntu 8.10.
Just a note, I also had this memory corruption error when installing
Ubuntu 9
I have the same problem, but I had never used Network Manager. I always
use WICD.

I hate to just be another "me too" but I'm running Intrepid. Every few
days I have to reset this box from the power switch. The culprit in
every case is that Xorg has completely frozen and the box is totally
unresponsive... sometimes I can move the mouse but all Keyboard escapes
are non-functional.

newest version (2009-03-03). After reboot I have kde but my mouse,
keyboard and touchpad doesn't work. The light on my mouse no longer
shine when the x server gets started.
