This bug should probably be against wicd, as a wicd install does not
remove all networkmanager components. The networkmanager components
that remain installed prevent wicd from functioning.

blacklisting acer_wmi in the /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf

Same problem here. More precisely: all windows will end in the FIRST
viewport you've designated via your shortcut.
For instance: I start ubuntu, log in, open a window, and send it to
viewport 3 via my design
Not so optimistic now :-(
the lag is back despite using the (USB) mouse connected by PS2

I have a new ThinkPad L520, Intel Core i7-2620M Processor w/ 6GB memory.
I am using the Ubuntu 11.04 amd64 Desktop and Alternate CD's but am
unable to install Ubuntu. When the laptop boots, it gets to the initial
options menu, but as soon as it tries to load into the Live CD

The above workaround comment #39 does not work for me.
nVidia 8600GT. Still just got a plain Aubergine background. No logo, no

Effectively I don't have this "bug" with the mkisofs bundled with
cdrecord 3.01a5 . I don't want to be picky I can't understand why this
fork is left unmaintained whereas a lot of things has been fixed in
mkisofs. However, it won't ruin my day, thanks for your answer.
