such a uname hack. I only suggested it for local use, not for upload to
Ubuntu.
The correct (but harder) fix to debootstrap is to have it be able to
fetch packages from lucid and lucid-updates at once.

Yes I rebooted all the LTSP cilents.
The problem is related to the temporary files that are stored on the
server for local apps. If the server was shut down improperly, say as in
my case with the clients connected(because of the other bug) the
temporary files are not removed.

Plug'n print doesn't work on Ubuntu 10.04.2 Lucid for HP Laserjet
P1005 - when I connect this printer I get a notification message
Downloading and installing plugin and this printer appears in system-
config-printer, but P1005 firmware isn't installed and printer doesn't
work until I run sudo

All those years ago, Vincent was absolutely correct.

Steps to reproduce:
Download kubuntu 11.04 amd64 iso
Mount with Daemon Tools (I had no blank discs but this shouldn't be an issue as
all installer files are copied to the fake
