I attempted it on Lucid 10.04.3, but I don't remember what version it was, and
have purged it some months back.
Just attempted to apt-get install it, and now it prompts for the necessary
packages (binutils build-essential cvs debconf-utils debhelper dkms dpatch

Although one could argue that the concept of sources still isn't
incredibly clear, in maverick the situation from in lucid was greatly

Shotwell for a while as it was not being loaded at all. Therefore the
request was moot, ie; I was not using any method to load it. I had
already tried to modify the launcher to remove any %U from the command
line with no effect.

There was just another process running, maybe there was softwar-center,

Looking at .gtk-bookmarks show an issue with dir/subdir names if thet contain
é: translated with % + uppercase letters.
