I made exactly these steps.

I am also experiencing this problem when dual booting with Windows 10
and Ubuntu 15.10 , which supposedly has the fix implemented in
/etc/init.d/mdadm-waitidle.
Whenever I reboot the system from one OS to another, even if the raid1
array appears to be in "normal" status in the bios POST, the array
a little more detail on this topic: the references for the loaded project shows
issues showing it couldn't load:

I hope I'll be able to get the fix into Qt before Xenial release (or in
the worst case as an early SRU). So no need to add the workaround.

Running Arch Linux, 4.4.5-1-ARCH, x86_64.

Things went better when I upgraded from 1:2.99.917+587+gc186d4d-1 to

After an apt-get upgrade today, mysql-server-5.6 got uninstalled, but nothing
came to replace it.
I therefore used apt-get install mysql-server to get the latest 5.7, but it
could not be configured (dpkg threw out error 11, about 5.7 not being
configured).

In older versions of qjackctl, the ability to control qjackctl via dbus
was always on. So having both on would leave things the same as prior
versions. I think Rui added this as a setting for those running it on
minimal systems with no dbus.

The upstream process for stable tree updates is quite similar
in scope to the Ubuntu SRU process, e.g., each patch has to
demonstrably fix a bug, and each patch is vetted by upstream
by originating either directly
Hmm. The "2 3 4 5" change doesn't seem to be enough to break the
dependency cycle.
I played a bit to see what could break the cycle but I couldn't find it.
By completely removing /etc/init.d/nbd-client, all is fine.
