Hi, this issue affects my hosts as well. I have about 40 hosts running
Intel X550s that were working fine on kernel 4.4.0-141-generic with
regard to negotiating 10Gb automatically. Suddenly after booting into
4.15.0-43-generic they automatically negotiate at 1Gb. I have to use
ethtool to force

I honestly think this is a Intel driver bug. See my thread here on the

Their conclusion was that it was an Asus changed x550 chip. Asus
I was able to install 18.04 without issue. It looks like the solution to

At 18.10 kernel all is fine with both flickering gone and being able to join

I figured out the issue. Long story short, freeipa (which is our CA),
when we enroll a PC into the realm, it adds the freeIPA cert to
/etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt like it should, however it also adds
other information that it shouldn't.
This results in p11-kit-trust.so blowing

I have encountered this too while trying to put together an image for
12.04.1 LTS kernel 3.2.0-31-generic. Same premise, upstart fails to
correctly initialize autofs (5.0.6-0ubuntu5) on boot because of ypbind
wait-for-state issues but it doesn't seem to be related to dnsmasq
(server is NOT managed
the user will
not even be aware of this problem.
After rebooting, the root filesystem needs recovery, as shown in dmesg:

Is there a fix for this for 7.10? When the LDAP server is down, it hangs
on klog etc. I have bind_policy soft set and it still hangs. Adding
nss_initgroups_ignoreusers to my ldap.conf seems to be a workaround.

for things like ri(1). The ri program exists, but is useless because it

In qemu 0.14 cache=writeback and cache=none are expected to perform
well. The default cache=writethrough is a very conservative setting
which is slow by design. I'm pretty sure that it has always been slow,
even before 0.12.5.
I think that the specific problem with savevm may be related to the VM
iscsi=true doesn't even seem to be parsed by the Jaunty alpha4
installer.

with the dialog asking me to choose a module for my storage device. I

I just ran into this on an upgrade from Hardy (8.04) to Lucid (10.04).
The issue was that when the mime module was first enabled, mime.conf
didn't exist and so wasn't symlinked into /etc/apache2/mods-enabled/.
Running `a2enmod mime` fixed it, but perhaps this should be fixed in the
lucid apache2

This happened during a live upgrade - that is, with the GUI upgrade tool
included in 9. After rebooting into 10, I was able to successfully

Being that apport information was requested I've provided it from my running
systems.

The developers list wasn't exactly a great target because developers
aren't the ones deploying this code. It should have been brought to the
operators to see if anyone was planning on upgrading to Juno on 12.04
deployments.

I've found a workaround for the issue to let me launch lxc containers
via juju
After the first container fails to launch, ssh to the hypervisor
edit /var/lib/lxc/juju-trusty-lxc-template/config
change br0 - lxcbr0
After editing the template config all subsequent lxc containers will
launch via
Bump.
Any ETA on getting this merged? At present Glance is unusable in Juno
when using internalURL by default.
