and HP dv5139eu laptop. Both seem to crash when running 2.6.35 kernel
and lshw. After downgrading to 2.6.32 kernel (latest on Lucid), lshw
seems to work normally.

I can confirm this issue with Jaunty. Problem with special characters
could be easily solved by changing charset of template files in
/usr/share/vdradmin-am/template/default from ISO-8859-1 to UTF-8 and
changing charset of po-files to UTF-8.

Seems like the situation with Jaunty is better. If application is opened
fullscreen with same resolution as desktop panel is hidden, but if
resolution differs panel still is visible.

Although 177.x is working here fine, it would really be nice if there
would be possibility to upgrade to 180.x, because it has some major
features. I guess 180.x shouldn't be default, but it could be proposed
or PPA in Intrepid.

I can confirm this. I had same issue with Ubuntu 8.04, but it was fixed
by installing libflashsupport. But now it is conflicting with 10.0.12.10
version of flashplugin-nonfree, so I can't use it.

I can reproduce this one. This happens also on Youtube frontpage. I have
ATI Radeon Express 200M with open source drivers (dri disabled). Output
of Alexander's commands is attached. It didn't make Xserver crash go

Upgraded today to liferea 1.0.21-0ubuntu1 and liferea with gtkhtml2 does
not crash anymore although it still prints as debug everytime new
article is opened: Unhandled property: 12 border-collapse.
Mozilla-plugin doesn't print that error and works too fine.
