definitely go for VM. But instead of RDesktop you can natively use the
Windows desktop in the VM, as well.

That's what you get when you install a publicly beta OS in place of a
working environment (despite all warnings).
If you want to experiment with the Beta, why don'y you do it in a

As per the memory usage when closing a tab, that's by design. As long
as you have memory to spare, it won't free the tab immediately so that
it's fast to reopen via "Recently Used Tabs". I'm not necessarily sure
