I don't think this is a bug in vim. It should work when using gvim.
Instead, it might have something to do with gnome-terminal or xterm
simulating F13 through F16 by Shift-F1 through Shift-F4. However, you
could just change your mappings to whatever Ctrl-V followed by pressing
shift-F4 returns.

Yes, I experienced the same thing after removing evolution (an insanely
slow app).
apt-get install $pkg does not clear this flag
sudo apt-mark unmarkauto $pkg does the trick.

I use several accounts in gaim, including irc and leave the
conversations open. irc tends to reconnect much slower than jabber, when

This bug seems to be considerbly common. Both Bugs #88279 and #89673
seem to be copies of this one and I have recived the same error.
Sometimes when I startup my laptop, Compaq EVO N400C, I get the error

possible. GNOME-app-install is NOT an instant apply dialog/application.

I agree with you that changing the buttons is not great usability (I try
to follow the HIG too). However, the way it is now is that I got
confused more than once! After an installation got through, the apply
button should either not be there or get disabled. And also, the ok
button must not carry

This bug seems to be considerably common with a few duplicate bugs and I
have received the same error.
Sometimes when I startup my laptop, Compaq EVO N400C, I get the error
artsd crashed with SIGEGV.
Using Kubuntu 7.04 and this is repeatable for me.
