I have the same problem with CD/DVD Creator not recognizing a blank CD-R

It seems to be related to the unredirect full screen windows option
under general options main advanced in beryl. I disabled that and the

Turned off Software Sound Mixing seemed to work at first. (No longer hung for
several minutes starting Gnome, no more error message)
Other strange things started happening though.. Clicking the shutdown button on
the panel caused it to freeze. Had to kill gnome panel.

John-Paul : Your issues are nothing to do with this bug. Looking at your
glxinfo output shows that you simply don't have the driver loaded
properly and not set up at all so you just need to do that to get
everything working properly again.

After installing bluez-gnome package and then typing sudo hciconfig
hci0 reset I was able to detect my Bluetooth again with hcitool dev.
My Bluetooth is not coming up in /dev/rfcomm0 though as it did before
with the same configuration so I can not connect to my phone

I have exactly the same problem with virtually the same log file. I have
found no way to get Feisty to recognize the Parallel port Zip Drive. It
worked like a dream under Edgy. Is this a bug in an updated ppa or what.
Has anyone successfully completed this under Feisty or are there too few
