Note: This is a feature request, not a bug report. As I am new to
Ubuntu, I have found no way to report a feature request. Sorry.
SLES, RHEL and Fedora all come with Apache2 configured out of the box
with SSL. However, Ubuntu's 7.04 Apache2
Ok, everybody who runs into the same problem...
Here is a way who to manage it. I found the solution somewhere in a Weblog:
1. download loop-aes-source_3.1f-2_all.deb from Debian infrastructure
2. install it by dpkg -i...
3. run the m-a build und install procedure with loop-aes
4. reboot

Update: i was able to get plugz to work with skype eventually using a
set of 32bit sound libraries from gentoo. So skype stops complaining
about the missing library but when i do a test call to the skype test
call service my recorded voice is pretty garbled and therefore it's
quite useless to me.

Actually, from looking at the bug #89603 more closely I'm pretty

Once again, there's a version mis-match between Amanda and GNU Tar in
Feisty.
In order to use tar 1.16, Amanda must be upgraded to 2.5.1p3. If it is
not upgraded, then tar must be downgraded to 1.15.91.
(Different version numbers, but this happened in Edgy also...)

charge by USB any longer; I could definitely charge my Zune when I was

the heavy widgets set application interface sometimes is bigger than
screen. Can't remember which apps have the dialogs and applciation

I had the same problem and here's what fixed it for me:
fstab options before: quiet,utf8,umask=006,uid=1000,gid=1000
would result in u=rwx,g=x,o=x.
fstab options now: quiet,utf8,umask=177,dmask=077,uid=1000,gid=1000
results in u=rw,g=,o= for files and u=rwx,g=,o= for directories.

I'm doing some digging into this issue.
The capplet isn't the problem, it merely retrieves and sets resolutions
via the RandR X extension. I can create the same corruption by using
xrandr(1) to switch to the problematic display modes.

Well its been a couple of weeks and a new machine has been built Ubuntu
6.10 has been installed and I braved the upgrade once again. Same thing

I would still test with the nv drivers. If it happens when you are using those
too then you have a completely different issue. However, whatever you do, I

I should also mention, that once feisty is installed I've attempted to
follow the advice from bug #103177 and add /sbin/udevsettle --timeout
10 to /usr/share/initramfs-tools/scripts/init-premount/udev, but that
does not appear to do anything.

reproduce this bug is to boot from the 7.04 livecd, and apt-get mdadm.
Once mdadm has been installed, sdc1 no longer exists.
