There appears to be a bug in the latest pre-built binaries. I installed
these on a fresh intrepid install and the tablet didn't work at all. In
Xorg.0.log I got

Steps to reproduce:
sudo apt-get install exmap exmap-modules-source

Just noting that downgrading the xorg package to hardy
(1:7.3+10ubuntu10) has resulted in zero occurrences of the bug in the
last 24 hours. Previously, I was restarting X at least 3-4 times a day.
In downgrading, I made no changes to the nvidia drivers being used -

Is this still an issue for anyone?
I think so. I myself use another mail client, but the issue is still
present in Intrepid. Just tested it, and it used SASL LOGIN although
CRAM-MD5 was available.
Of course, there is an option in the wizard now, where you can disable
downloading mail

I indeed also have an Intel graphics chip (GMA 3100). I've found out
that the problem disappears when I change my color depth in xorg.conf to
24 bit.
Section Screen, DefaultDepth 24
I had changed it to 16 to speed up Compiz.

One thing. I am not using an Ubuntu stock kernel but Array.org provided
one for and eee 901.
Does kcheck build a kernel from the configuration of the kernel you have (like
array.org in my case)?
or does it do it from well-known distro kernel templates?

I've tested your resolution in a Jaunty 9.04, with kernel
2.6.28-2-ub-generic in Jaunty repo (It's based on 2.6.28rc6, so I don't
think necessary to compile a 2.6.28rc6 myself)
After install mesa and drm-snapshot in the xorg-edgers repo, I got a higher
FPS, ~900. But after reboot, I cann't get
When you say alt+alt-r, you mean that you used to press both alt keys
down at once? In order to move to the next window, did you let go and
then re-press one of them, and to make the switcher disappear, did you
let go of both?

Same bug here. I tried to start aptitude with:
$ sudo aptitude
A message box appears with:
E: Abrindo arquivo de configuração /usr/share/aptitude/aptitude-defaults.pt_BR
- ifstream::ifstream (2 Arquivo ou diretório inexistente)
You can close the message box and the application will work okay.
This utility doesn't work yet in Samba 4.
