Hi there,
I'm running ubuntu on my PC which has an AMD/ATI Radeon HD4650 as the video
card but I cannot change the resolution of my screen with the standard driver.
When the system boots for the first time, it automatically sets the resolution
to 1280x768 but I'm used to
On my laptop the Num Lock key switches teh num pad emulation on the
normal keyboard, without needing to press Fn. A numerical keyboard as on
a normal PC does not exist, therefore it does not make sense to switch a
numerical keyboard between cursor control and numbers.

The crash is in the wacom driver. I didn't find a debug package for it,
so I don't know where exactly. It prints several errors about not being
able!
After removing the wacom sections from my xorg.conf, gdm started
normally and I was able to log in again. So yay, workaround! I've never

Since I upgraded to Jaunty, liferea generates a lots of IO when
refreshing the feeds. I tried with liferea 1.5.8 but the result is the

in 7.04. I have recently tested this on Jaunty (audacity 1.3.6-2) and it

I've seen a lot of bug reports about rdesktop in Ubuntu. Why don't
Ubuntu devs fix rdesktop out?
This really drives people crazy,
Wait, do not try the Jaunty live CD yet, there is currently another bug
in Jaunty that breaks the mga driver.

I've a similar problem with rdesktop but with the one more issue it has
with the session freezings, as stated in

Tried enabling/disabling different features and compiled other versions
as well.
Ubuntu needs to learn more discipline

Thanks for the answers, and its right, i don't start the postgresql daemon
at boot time, i just did a chmod -x to the service script, i'll try to start
the service and reinstall the bacula-director-pgsql and let you know if
this(it should...) works.

After a reboot the widget disappeared and no network manager icon was active
according to the widget manager. I tried activating the Network manager and no
widget was displayed. I've also tried removing and then re-installing
network-manager and still can't get a widget to display. The only way
I'm having the same issue with the 64bit version in Intrepid. I reboot
to a 'no resume image' error.
