Try running just Metacity and see if resizing works. If it does

which produced some weird results at first, but resizing worked. But then I had
to re-enable compiz, and now with compiz back, the resizing seems to work.

2- Tenha um CDRW pra fazer seus testes, assim vovce não perde midia.

Aproveitando o assunto apt-cacher, me tira uma duvida, Apos configurar o
arquivo /etc/apt/source.list e adicionando as linhas correspondentes ao
apt-cacher, como faço para desfazer, digo. Eu removi todas as entradas do
arquivo ../source.list.
Depois executei o comando. sudo aptitude

era isso mesmo. o arquivo 01proxy apontava para o servidor, removi o arquivo
(ja que ele so tinha uma linha e esta era a referencia para o servidor
apt-cacher) e tudo voltou ao normal.

teclas de multimídia do lado direito para play/pause, stop, previous e
