I've found the SOLUTION! Whoa!
The steps to fix the problem, working for me:
0. Play some music, so you can hear it.
1. Open console, run alsamixer there.
2. Find channel for your PCM device (for me it was PCM or PCM Front), moving
balance on different channels

I can't find how to switch ACI off. Any way it would be nice to keep BIOS

I think this really is two bugs:
1) Sound-juicer should either continue to work (or at least fail in a
more graceful manner than with a segfault) if power management is
broken.
2) Power management currently appears to be broken. I also noticed (but
hadn't immediately made the connection with
Marking as Fix Committed since spellchecking now works in the Daily PPA.

Okay I've figured it out.
If you remove the PPA for Openshot from the Software Sources, and then
uninstall every package listed under ffmpeg in Synaptic Package
Manager and also uninstall Openshot, then reinstall the packages listed
under ffmpeg, then Totem will work again.
