Since OO 3.3 was released, Base at least is unusable on screens with a
resolution of 1024x576. Which in all honesty is a shockingly glaring
error, especially when taking into consideration the popularity of
netbooks/umpc's. We use them alot with work, especially for those of us
on call.

OK, I think the solution has to be:
1. /etc/pam.d/gdm-autologin has to force a password request if the user is
using an encrypted home directory
2. GDM has to detect this, and launch the greeter if this occurs (normal case
is to run without launching the greeter)

boards, and the fglrx driver do not play well with this version of
Unity. I'd suggest trying the Natty version, as we're now getting much

Yes, I agree that on a Gnome Desktop Environment, the libreoffice-kde
package should not be installed by default. Maybe only the libreoffice
basic packages should be installed by default, and the user would have
the possiblity to install the gnome or kde package for libreoffice.

mvo, realized the confusion that might occur as debian's upstart (which
