I fear that that the backtrace will be rather disappointing, as the gdb
doesn't find any symbols for the pcscd-binary. Now the odd thing is, if
you start the gdb if you then remove the card-reader for the first time,
it doesn't crash. It is only the second time when the read is removed

First of all, I can see that chinese is installed in Lubuntu as well as in
Linux Mint Katya (See screendumps). Notice that my
preferred language = ducth (nederlands) and this language is active, but is
greyed out?

1. When I set English as the preferred language after I installed Lubuntu with

I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS. After upgrading, the system couldn't boot any
longer. The new kernel crashes immediate. Even removing splash, quiet from
the grub-command-line doesn't solve the problem. Adding
debug has no effect (nothing is logged)
