would make the package not depend on tclsh, a move that would save
livecd/disk space and would be a slight help for boot speed as well when

Chris Cheney mailed me yesterday about the conflict with hunspell-ro so it is
known and I forwarded it to Adi and Alex since they know more about this. I am
not the maintainer of myspell-ro, just uploaded it and am not up-to-date with
the status of dictionaries.
So it definitely can be removed
If on a virtualized server (such as hosted on linode) udev may not
behave as on real hardware or maybe not run at all.

I see this too on two computers since Hardy where g-p-m is disabled. The logout
dialog code checks to see if suspend and hibernate buttons are to be added and
asks g-p-m. However if it is not running it does not get the answer and it
blocks. g-p-m is started by this but possibly too late to
indeed it works without problems in hardy

On a 8.04 liveCD playing an avi with totem-xine (not totem-gstreamer) causes an
error dialog to pop up after a few minutes saying that the sound device is
being used by another app and after that there is no sound at all.
A restart of totem-xine with the same file works

does this package provide python-abiword too? I do not see that in the
PPA. It is the component used by Sugar if available and it was buildable
from the svn sources of Abiword as of november 2007.

I had this version packgaged a while ago but did not upload as the become root
funciton did not work
it needs to be patched to not use afedora specific su invocation
Morgan can you test and see how should sudo be invoked so we get a root
terminal? I tried back then but could not get it to work
